THE MORNING CALL: Irish Rovers celebrate a bonny resurgence...From the recent resurge in popularity of The Irish Rovers, it would seem the lads themselves have returned to their glory days, and are still charging... BELFAST TELEGRAPH: It tells of the ship's beginnings in Belfast's Harland and Wolff shipyard. The veteran singer-songwriter says he felt compelled to finally put the song down on paper for the ship's 100th anniversary. Millar has recently, been nominated for his songwriting... CONCERT REVIEW: fun it was - rousing and roaring. With George Millar’s introduction of “Are you ready? So are we,” the band kicked into their namesake tune, “The Irish Rover,” Banjo/mandolin player Sean O'Driscoll was especially funny on “The Wife is Mad.” “Whores and Hounds” from the new disc was bawdy and fun...
